Electric Archtop

This fine Archtop electric guitar was made in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Lutherie Certificate from Galloup School of Guitar Building and Repair in Big Rapids, MI. It has a hand-carved spruce top and figured maple sides and back, with a figured maple neck.

It has a Kent Armstrong humbucker pickup and an ebony pickguard. The bridge is also ebony. The maple is toned with a hand-rubbed brown dye and the finish is nitrocellulose lacquer. The tuning machines are Gotoh. It has a crisp clean sound through you favorite amp or by itself. Though it is meant to be played through a nice jazz amp.
