This is a classical guitar with a sitka spruce soundboard and Indian Rosewood sides and back. The neck is Mahogany and the instrument is finished with a French Polish, as is typical for classical guitars. This guitar was built in the shop of, and under the tutelage of Robert O’Brien (obrienguitars.com).

It was built in a one-on-one class with Mr. O’Brien according to the exacting standards he uses in the production of his hand-made instruments. It is made in the usual classical method with an ebony fingerboard and bridge. It has very lovely tone and nice volume and projection. The tuners and rosette are upgraded from the models usually built in Mr. O’Brien’s classes.
